Covert Op (aka Requiem PART 1 :twisted: )


I'm not exactly happy with this one, and it kinda feels a bit like a rush job (mainly because of a nasty crash which wiped about 11GB of footage and effects, resulting in the 'patch-up' feel of some parts in the movie).
Oh well..
Music choice was primarily inspired by the oldschool RCA powerleveling days when a certain dj at XRN kept us going with the tunes ^^ (looking at you guys Flip, Obitus and MrO :wink: )

Not seen the vid yet as at work - but just to add my tuppence ha'penny in.

I remember my first days in game were lonely, strange, confused and I wondered if this was gonna be a short liveed experience. Then I found the RCA recruitment poster and thought - oh what the hell - where do I sign.

You were there when I got my first Access Node - clearing the way past the nasty mobs guarding the node - always willing to help and give advice to someone who was a very slow leveller (and still is btw).

I remember when I was still in my teens standing in lifts and you were so excited when you got hyper dodge and could move like agents, discussing the finer details of battle (for lvls <30) with Carlo while I just leeched XP from you and watched in wonder.

When you took the decision to move factions it was because you were well respected that a vast majority jumped ship with you.

You recruited me into Causality with a promise that these were all good guys and I would have fun on your new ship. Never a truer word was said Cap'n.

I won't say this is a surprise cos the ship has been getting a bit lonely lately and I have only seen you once in a few months (for the death of the destroyer) - but it is always a bit of a downer when things are officially confirmed.

Thanks for making this into something I have enjoyed immensely Ad - you were the catalyst for making this place fun.

Im not going to go into detail about all the great times I had in RCA/Causality and how you really made MXO a great game for me because there are far far too many things to mention but... after watching the video (and going from smiling from ear to ear after hearing "bodies hit the floor" to feeling so down when it ended because I realised im not gonna see you ingame again) i have decided that theres no way your getting away from me that easily and so I will be purchasing CoV asap.

Hopefully with enough people from this great community we can make something great over on the "defiant" server (looking at you 0bitus, tytanya, veube, dvoid, moze and everyone else :) ) of course i'll be keeping my mxo account running too as there is still a little life left in that for me yet. See you soon bro /longoverduehug.
