Interesting new mmorpg for FF fans (+in-game screenies ^^)

Well, apparently it does. After scouring the web i accidentally stumbled across this :

Lol, what a coincidence. I didn't even know CodeM did mmorpgs. But it seems to be the same game yes.
BTW, tracked down 2 movies in the meanwhile. Final Fantasy fans should definately check these out. Seriously..

At the risk of inviting total flame...a relation to the anything squaresoft leaves me cold....howver Lineage 2 looks very nice indeed the screen shots are gorgeous..how does it play?

well in my eyes its only good on "Private" servers and not the original ones..cuz the lvling there is damn boring ^^ but its pretty cool cuz you can get castles and make castle sieges with big siege golems and stuf...its pretty nice...you got like 5 races...dark elven, elven, orc, human and dwarves and you can be archer (assasin) warrior with swords mage, priest and stuff like that..just like every other fantasy game =) at lvl 20 you get your first profession like you can choose between assasin and knight (if you made a warrior char) and you can choose between priest and normal mage (if you made a magic char) thats for the dark elves..i didnt really play any other races so far cuz i luv the dark elven =)

Yeah lineage2 is a visually nice game and has some nice features but the actual servers are such a grind, coming across the items you need is REALLY hard and making money is also REALLY hard, if you die you lose experience and can de-level and drop your items, theres alot of overly harsh things within that game considering how much effort you have to put in to getting them... kept me entertained for awhile though ^^

I did enjoy L2 enough to play & stuff on private servers. Retail though isnt something I would want to go back to.

Lineage's strongsuit was the high end PvP game.
