New account troubles?

Can't log on anymore. The "account" button takes me to a 404 error page and I dont get the option of adding MxO to my existing station pass anywhere...

So basically, do i have to be more patient or is this game screwing me over for the last time? :roll:

Looks to be that the game is still down for transition, I checked this morning and then it told me I had no internet connection lol dumb dumb dumb!....now I'm stuck at work but hopefully by the time I get home you will have encountered all the problems and be able to tell us all the solutions :P

I don't get it... How can so many people be logged into the official forum when nobody can add the freakin' game to their account :S

Every time I go to post I get asked to login, so I put in my station account info and am met with, huzzah, the same login screen. And every page that presumeably goes to the account manager is either 404'd or I don't have permission to view it :(

If anyone needs me I'll be playing Rise of Nations for the next week or so, it seems.

Well, looks like that's the end of MxO for me fellas.

Sony do not accept "Pre-owned" accounts (I bought mine of a mate at work who preferred WoW) andthat's the only problemI can see, they want to deal with HIM, not me, I just pay the f*cking subscription.

So... I have a choice, buy another copy and face another 12 week grind to get back to where I was, or give 'em the finger.

Invalid account length? whats that about, ive tried names from 1 to 20 characters and now im really fucking pissed. It says between 4 and 15 characters which is just bullshit. Help please :cry:

Nope. It's my name on the station account. It don't match the [original] name on the WB account.

Apparently as long as you click on 'Convert my account' link first and type in your MXO log in and password you dont need to enter your CD-Key, its comming up as invalid because that key has been you by you in the past. Just click on the convert button type in your username and password you use for MXO then log in as an existing member, your then be asked bout billing etc, though im naffed as they dont take Switch :shock:

The game is now open for all players and the transition page is live. If you already have an MxO account, make sure you click the CONVERT MY ACCOUNT NOW! button before signing on with a current Station account or creating a new one.

This is important, I didnt know that was an actual button first, if you get to the "enter activation key" you did it wrong. I was pulling my hair out cause it would accept my game key, but is because if you dont use that button it thinks you are registering a new game.

Short story: Click "CONVERT MY ACCOUNT NOW!" it is the big banner, that doesnt look like it needs to be clicked

Like I said you dont need it, somehow the web-site goes nuts and thinks your a new member to the game, as long as you follow what I said above you should be fine

Has anyone successfully added their MxO account to an existing Station account? From what I'm reading, it seems that it'll only convert it to a new account.

Tell me I've got the wrong end of the stick, 'cause if I haven't it'll mean I have 3 station accounts :D

yes i have added MXO to an existing Station account.

at least im 99% sure i have.

i now log in to MXO using my station name and password that I have been using for Star wars galaxies for the last 18months

the only minor concern i have is that when i look at the "manage my account" bit on the station website it only lists me as being subscribed to SWG - no mention of MXO

but this could just be them being slow to update the Station websites cos i can play MXO ok.

i was hoping to swap out my existing SWG and MXO seperate subs for a combined Station pass but it looks like it wont let me do that until my existing subs run out - thats next January for SWG and next March for MXO.... :?

I've just reinstalled MxO (my PC seems to be alive, for now... *touch wood* ), which is downloading god knows how many gigs of patches :D, and am currently installing SWG for the first time :)

Looks like, because my account was inactive, I'm getting my free month right now (yippie!)... Gives them plenty of time to get their act together ;)

well today i made sure both my MXO account was switched to station access pass using the MXO account thingy here:

and then i made sure my SWG account was also switched to station pass using the station account thingy

now what that appears to have done is added my outstanding SWG time to my outstanding MXO time plus the free month for the MXO transition and then credited me time in terms of access pass months.

so now it appears that i have a station access pass and i dont have to pay again until June 2006

well thats what it says on the MXO page...

on the station page it says i dont have to pay again until June 2006 but its crediting me with a SWG account and a "station pass"
a station pass is NOT the same as an station access pass :/

what i think the problem is that the STATION site still has not been set up to recognise MXO subs - which is pretty damn diabolical if you ask me....

im fairly happy everythings squared up now but it would be nice to see it in black and white on the station site....

they have made this incredibly complicated when a series of "yes" or "no" questions would have made this a very simple process- where do they find these people???
