Any respectable factions?

Just wondering if anyone from Causality has come across any factions that aren't like the Duality only American. Any faction that preferred to chat rather than kill mindlessly. Because I certainly haven't. It seems "Hi." translates into "Hey, please gang rape me and vomit on my corpse." to our transatlantic brethren.

Hmm well I know and have alrady killed a respectable number of the groups you mentioned Bak :twisted: .....sorta gathered their approach from the forum posts.

As a Zions go COZ remain much as before and having killed a member of 'Unleashed minds' and recieved copious abuse I gather they do not see red=dead so you might try opening a dialogue with them...pirme requirement is to move out of Richland, with so many people about, even if you find someone wiling to do more than Pvp, someone else will turn up to destroy any semblance of a conversation. (Goes for Merovs too as I tried to talk with Symbea and appealed to those about That it was an attempt to recruit him I was unable to stop them from randomly deciding to kill him......server metality is very low afraid :( )

Yes yes, the same, I'm ashamed to say, goes for Merovingianites.

I went all Input this evening and jacked into Mara Central wearing nothing but my boots, sunglasses and dignity :D

However it seems Mara doesn't appreciate comedy (or mental disorders, depending on your stance on semi-naked guys). It was basically the best example I had gotten so far on how utterly, utterly terrible the other two servers are at pvp. I had Duelist loaded, and absolutely no VD. So I did the usual; /mood regal, activate hyper dodge and walk towards my beloved pole. It was hilarious to walk a few steps completely unscathed by knives, clamors and bedlams. Then of course, the typical *stun* *dev field* *random talentless hacker attack*. Although this method took about 30 seconds to kill me (as a talentless hacker, I have them hitting the floor in 10 ^^). Then some kind hearted fellow rezzed me. So I stood up and said some things at the pole that I don't think were taken with the general joyous gusto of Inputians. So I had the "might" of the Furious Angels to contend with. Now, see if this makes sense to you. GENERALLY (always), a Kung Fu GM would be expected to outroll a duelist (a naked, unbuffed one with DE at that). A dead Kung Fu GM would be expected to outroll a duelist with stun and despoiler, right? Apparently not. I blocked all of his attacks while debuffed, and when stun wore off my attacks actually hit him! Anyway, this continued for a while, apparently the naked guy who never attacks is the biggest threat to Zion's truce! *sigh* Oh Input, where art thou.

Oh, add Knights of the Golden Compass and Furious Angels to my list ;)

And yeah, I was surprised about CoZ, considering what good friends I was with Elbulus, Psudo, Kaspanova, Yaffman, Orezoen etc, but no, I was attacked repeatedly (for commiting the mortal sin of crafting at Jurong :?) by their Enumerator counterparts earlier, so they're on the list.

Shield of the Gods dont gank. tehy might attack you, but they dont gank.
I used to be able to go around, and not get hit because i could talk people out of ganking me *LOL*. and if they did hit me, even if it was a lie, i would say:
"Hey thanks for doing that man. I needed it. i was a bit drunk, and that kinda knocked it out of my system. Nothing like dying to wake you up."
They usually leave me alone after that......

Also ive found that if you see a lone red about they wont attack you you can wave or say hi or whatever.

Well all factions are not l337 "im the owner!" "i pwned u , u nub i r0x0rs!!".

I had some fun (yes fun!) with a certain zion faction at Sai kung C the other day. Drag and Seriphin were there and shared the humor. I didnt get no trash talk, it was just good old PVP.

It started with with a lvl 50 and lvl 43 methinks, who both killed Seriphin and some other merov there, then moved onto me. Both in IL........both dead :D . Then of course they called in their buddies, so it was now about 3 or 4 50's and couple of 40's.

So i climbed on the pole near the HL and stayed about midway so they cudnt hit me with ranged attacks. One of them saw i was there and joined me on the pole.

Zion : "hi"
Moze : "hehe"
Zion : "so what u doing?"
Moze : "just hanging around :P"
Zion : "yeah me too"
Moze : "hehe"
Zion : "lol"


None of the trash that we hear it would seem everywhere we go. These Zions didnt cry when they died, they enjoyed the PVP and had a laugh at the same time.

I was suprised dont get me wrong. But basically i think there are some decent factions that we just havnt come across yet. So all is not lost.

Just cant remember the faction name. :P

yeh i jacket into sai kung today and got attacked by a lvl 50 kung fu master, was a good fight then his mate came must have been sub machine gun or something and helped him win, after words though he said gf and gave me a /t saying that he kind of didnt want him to get involved.

I jacked into Zia South, was ganked by 10 or so, and reconned there about 10 times, but they never seemed to get the message, unsurprisingly. I asked "Why do you buy an MMO to play it like an FPS?", to which I got no reply.

25 days til I quit.
