Well, here it is, my first animated sig, I'm a complete noob to animations but I'm pretty pleased with what I made... Well, I was pleased with it untill I saw the size and had to downgrade so the image looks like a blob...

Filmed the fighting using FRAPS, then imported into Adobe Premiere, sectioned each individual frame and then imported those frames into Photoshop, added the falling Matrix Code and Text to the frames there, then imported each frame in order into Animation Shop, added a few transitions and the 'Camera Blur' there... Thaught that gave it a kinda 'grimey' effect... And yes...

It took time.

Had to optimise it majorly, the complete version had 150 frames (lol, did say I was a noob, got carried away) and a whole 255 colours, this... Is the punk'd version with 58 Frames and 15 colours, which I bareley get away with because it creates some kinda effect that I can't discribe. Heh.

Know you probably can't read the text, it says...

"Within a world governed by dreams, an unstable mind is an unstoppable weapon" Thaught up by your's truly lol. :)

Heads up, lemme know what you think please, really, really sorry if it takes ages to load but I put a lot of time and effort into it and was dying to show you all, and no... I know, I know... As much as I'd love to I know I can't use it as my sig... Oh wells. http://mxoboards.station.sony.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

EDIT: New 700k Version, 500x160, 31 Colours, 47 Frames, DivX Compression.

It's just occured to me I created and edited 159 frames individually in Photo Shop... Then only used 47 of them... Yeh...

Wes you're feeling like a twat right now ain't cha?... Yeh. *Hangs head*

S'a hell of a learnin' curve though, should be able to put what I've learn't into practice on my next movie. Script written, Playing with the intro sequence and mixing the track for the intro at the miniute, but that's a different story alltogether...

Apart from being in breach of the weapons of mass bandwidth destruction treaties, I think it's really cool.

Shame you haven't fixed the text yet, but I'm lovin the "Sin City fighting-with-broken-bottles-in-a-rainy-alleyway" feel of it.

Thanks mate, non-optimised version hit in at jus' over 1 Meg lol, exactly what I was aiming to make, in that one there was double the frames where the action was moving in slow motion whilst the code moved at a faster speed (Yeh, it used to actually look like code and not blood) and the "Shakey camera" effect didn't make the code appear to jump around as much with that number of frames...

Proper gutted it's so big, didn't even occur to me untill I'd finished it... http://mxoboards.station.sony.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

EDIT: Managed to up the quality and decrease the size at the same time with the help of a li'l magic thing called DivX and a few tricks you wrote 'bout in the other thread... I know what the problem is, size of the individual JPGs used as frames, the height / width of them (Incredibly so) and the amount of 'em, not nessecarily the amount of colours, with each frame I remove the size drops by roughly 2%.

Looks alot clearer now, but still 700k. *Sniff* http://mxoboards.station.sony.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

Woah awesome!

Like the fighting scene, also like the old style film effect with moving text and edges.

Text and red code are still blurry and the dark settings of the fighting scene makes it harder to see (but gives it the nice gloomy style too).

& jeez - 7.30am....

Thanks Grif! There's not really much I can do to the text seeing as I did it in Photoshop, besides upgrade the colours, dunno mite do that one day.... If I can be arsed...

Oh... What's this... I've just seen Nova's sig... Mine's smaller than his.

And I've had no probs with loading his one, So I'm gonna 'ave a go at using mine, if it gives anyone serious loading speed problems PM me about it and I'll remove it. Peace, Renz.

Oh! I just noticed you're killing a Blooddrinker in it, some people may think you're a machine or Zionite. Course everyone here knows you're not, but on DN1 or summit.

I'm not racist against Blood Drinkers, He pinched my ass, people like that deserve to die. Or be Foxtrotted to death.

No but seriously, only reason I'm fighting a Blood Drinker is because of the background, I wanted that style of background (Grimey, decaying block of flats, Fight-Club / Sin City style) and that was the best location that didn't have entireley female mobs surrounding it...

The original clip had me beating the crape paper out of a femme. XD

It's a little dark to see what is going on and hard to read the writing, but I like it:)

You tried making the vid alittle smaller? box it in the centre and making a cool background? that should help the file size.
