Hey all,
Apologies for suddenly leaving you hanging at Mara while i crashed out.
Allow me to give u an update on what was giong on.
I was experiencing severe lag, brought on not by my connection, but simply due to overheating of my system it seems. A dead giveaway was the smoke coming from my vent, accompanied by the distinctive scent of something burning. My PC went dead all of a sudden, at which point my temper slightly took over :roll: . I decided to give my pc a 'slight' nudge, which of course send it toppling down my desk and crashing to the ground, draggin my screen with it for the occasion. While i sat staring at my now empty desk, my face pretty much looking like this : :shock: , it dawned on me. I can't start up MxO without a pc. I will spare you the stream of obscenities that flowed forth from my lips, I'm sure you could think of several in my place.
So, this is where i stand now. A grim outlook indeed. My PC has been re-assembled, using generous amounts of duct tape and super glue, but i have not had the chance to test it yet. I had to leave for work early this morning, and will be there 'till at least 9pm tonight!! :evil:
Guess it's just one of those days huh? (cue appropriate Limp Bizkit song)
Anyway, good luck to you all, as i'm sure you're eagerly awaiting my return :P
And behave (you know who you are! :P )
I'll try to log in asap again, wether by buying a new system (which would set me back prolly around 2000 euros) or by shoving my head into a light socket.
At least we still have laughter eh? :roll:
