I've seen a lot of chatter about this MMORPGFPS.

Yes it actually looks and sounds pretty decent.

Obviously wont appeal to the anti-fps players out there, but it would be a nice change from the norm of MMO's.

One things clear.... the graphics are orgasmic.

If the game is nearly as good as the graphics (which by the looks of it, even had AA turned down in some screenies) then I'm sold!

But V, any idea what the rpg element is? I couldn't see in the article anything other than it being a MMOFPS, in which case BF2 rings to mind... or I guess planetside, but neither of those have an rpg element to them (No relaxed roleplaying at least, its all bang bang bang)

So i doubt its gonna be all out shooting and fragging, there are other elements to it that would appeal to the casual gamer, i would imagine.

Presumably they wont make the entire server hostile, or non hostile like mxo, and instead make zones of hostility.

Not really into genre cross-fertilisation, I love MMOs, I love RTS, I've hated any MMORTS I've played. Still, I guess it's the only way forward seeing as everything else has already been done.

yea that game looks quite decent but when you think about it...MMO means like there are (or there shud) be items (loot) and stuff like that...i dont know how i can imagine stuff like that within an FPS...like "omgz i found a new photon handheld ubercannon of death which makes superior damage right but when i hit his leg he's just gonna be a cripple..." etc.

it just doesn't work out ;p
